Test Engineer **The Opportunity:** When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. That’s why we need you, an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible. As a test engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with testers, developers, and engineers to evaluate software developed for the Department of Navy. You’ll create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated and manual processes, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of ICADS system. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test. The world can’t wait. **You Have:** - Experience conducting testing and evaluation of Navy systems to assess software implementations in a lab environment - Experience developing test procedures to assess software implementation of Navy systems - Experience coordinating Navy project testing with multiple stakeholders - Experience in a lab environment for a Navy project - TS/SCI clearance - Bachelor's degree **Clearance:** Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. **Compensation** At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
