**Summary** The Electronic Repair Technician is responsible for the test and repair of various electronic systems in Uninterruptible Power Supply and other critical power systems equipment, assemblies, and components to board level. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Troubleshoot and repair Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and other critical power equipment, assemblies, and components utilizing schematics and test equipment - Refurbishment of critical power equipment, UPS systems, battery systems - Utilize company software systems to document activities, status of work, details of repairs, and sourcing of parts - Repair and calibrate UPS and critical power systems to OEM factory specifications - Maintain a professional looking work area with attention to detail and safety - Other duties to be assigned **Requirements** - Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team-based project experience - Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance is essential - Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematic diagrams, and wiring diagrams - Thorough working knowledge of ohms law, single phase, and three phase power systems - Thorough familiarity with tools and test equipment such as oscilloscope, amp clamp, DVM, thermal imager - Preferred experience: Associates degree in electronics engineering or equivalent; equivalent work/ military experience in power/ critical power industry **Physical Demands** While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee may occasionally lift and /or move up to 75 pounds.
