# Temporary Cook **Location:** Musashi, Battle Creek, MI 49037 **Position Type:** Temporary **Start Date:** August 24, 2026 **End Date:** September 2, 2026 **Hours:** 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM **Pay:** Starting at $20/hour ## Job Description We are seeking a Temporary Cook to join our cafeteria team at Musashi in Battle Creek, MI. This role involves preparing and serving meals in a fast-paced cafeteria environment. The ideal candidate will be reliable, efficient, and able to work the specified temporary period. ## Responsibilities - Prepare and cook meals according to cafeteria standards and guidelines. - Serve food to employees and guests in a timely and courteous manner. - Assist with food prepping and setup before service hours. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas. - Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations. - Work collaboratively with the cafeteria team to ensure smooth operations. ## Qualifications - Previous experience as a cafeteria cook or similar food service role preferred. - Ability to work early morning hours from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety. - Ability to work effectively in a temporary position from 8/24 to 9/2. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
