**JOB FUNCTION:** To create an exceptional customer experience by ensuring all transactions are processed accurately. Keep accurate records of currency and negotiable instruments while following bank policies and procedures. Being part of the Travel Team requires travel between any of our banking centers, as needed. Provide referrals for new products and services based on customer needs on a daily basis. **DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** •Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging, educating and building personal connections with our customers. •Accept and process deposits and withdrawals on commercial, personal, and savings accounts. Cash various types of checks according to established policies •Count, sort and package currency and coin. Prepare and fill change orders for commercial customers •Use computer system/software to handle all bank offered services •Balance cash daily following standard procedures •Make referrals of bank’s services to new and existing customers. •Follow the bank’s established sales and service process •Buy and sell money to stay within assigned cash limit •Perform other duties as assigned **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:** Work Experience •1 year of previous Teller experience •Ability to travel and work at various designated Jefferson Bank locations on a daily basis •Able to work 40 flexible hours per week including Saturdays •Excellent customer service skills while handling variety of duties •Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation **Preferred Experience (Optional)** •2 years of previous Teller experience •Proficiency in financial platforms such as core system and CRM as well as working with cash recyclers **Supervisory Experience** •None **Education/Skills/Experience** •High School Diploma or GED Equivalent **Equipment/Machines/Software** •Excellent computer literacy in all Microsoft Programs (Outlook, IE 11, Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe) •Ability to work with office equipment proficiently such as personal computers, laptop, smartphone, tablet, phone systems, copiers, scanners, shredders, fax machines and other digital devices •Ability to use adding machine/calculator •Use of coin and bill counter **Position Includes Driving** •Yes, must provide and maintain valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation **Competency Requirements** •Strong and positive interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals and situations with professionalism. •Must be able to communicate effectively, coherently and in a concise manner with customers and colleagues verbally and in written form •Organizational skills with ability to multi-task and follow assigned tasks through completion •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision •Must be accustomed to a fast-paced office environment •Must have and maintain a safe driving record •Must have good time management skills **Physical Requirements** •Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day •Must be able to reach, bend and lift files up to 30 lbs. •Must be able to type on a keyboard •Must be able to speak to and hear customers •Must be able to read a laptop/desktop computer monitor •Must be able to be mobile in an office environment •Must be able to drive to any banking center location as needed •Must be able to reach all teller tubes This job description does not imply an employment contract, nor is it intended to include every duty and responsibility that employee is responsible.
