Teller

The Teller provides exceptional customer service while performing a variety of banking transactions accurately and efficiently. This role supports branch operations, ensures compliance with bank policies, and contributes to a positive client experience. ### **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** - Greet and assist HAB Bank clients, delivering courteous and professional service. - Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and issue cashier’s checks. - Conduct daily proof of ATM and cash on hand. - Assist in opening and closing the vault; balance vault currency and coin. - Refer customers to appropriate team members for specialized banking needs. - Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products and services. - Balance cash drawer and vault daily. - Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation. - Adhere to all bank policies, including fraud prevention and robbery guidelines. - Perform additional tasks as assigned by management. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Ability to handle cash and transactions responsibly. - Basic knowledge of banking procedures and compliance standards. - Proficiency in computer and banking systems. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Professional demeanor and commitment to confidentiality.
