The District may use the applicant pool and results from this recruitment to fill additional vacancies in the same classification for up to six (6) months following the recruitment closing date, consistent with District policy and applicable law. **Position Summary** Under limited supervision, this position provides specialized expertise in Telecom Performance, Maintenance, Compliance and Construction to support the planning, design, and maintenance of inside and outside telecom infrastructure, facilities, and building systems. The role is responsible for maintaining the Telecom Multi-Year Roadmap ensuring the reliability, functionality, and operational performance of existing and future telecom infrastructure that support Grant PUD operations. This position collaborates with Telecom engineers, outside engineers, vendors, and interior subject matter experts to develop recommendations within their area of expertise. Additionally, the role requires building and maintaining external and internal professional relationships that influence project outcomes and contribute to the successful execution of telecom-related initiatives. **Essential Functions** Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include any of the following representative duties, knowledge, and skills. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: - Support telecom and fiber infrastructure planning initiatives to ensure safe, reliable, and functional inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) networks. - Serve as a subject matter expert under Telecom & Fiber Services, providing recommendations related to infrastructure planning, maintenance, compliance, capacity management, lifecycle planning and ISP/OSP standards. - Partner with Telecom & Fiber Services leadership and operations teams to develop and implement strategies, procedures, and documentation supporting network operations, capacity planning, maintenance, expansions, relocations, new build, and budgeting. - Monitor and asse…
