**Job Title:** Teen and University Program Manager **Department:** Learning **Reports To:** Deputy Director for Learning & Engagement **** **FLSA Status:** Fulltime, Exempt **Pay Rate:** $50,000-$52,000 **Prepared/Revised Date:** 6/2026 **\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_** **Job Summary:** The Teen and University Program Manager develops, administers, and partners with strategic organizations for engaging pre-teen, teen, and university programming aligned to Columbus Museum of Art’s strategic plan. This position collaborates cross-departmentally as part of an ambitious team shaping the future direction of youth and university programming at both museum locations. **Duties & Responsibilities:** 1. Administers teen initiatives, especially teen council and standalone teen programs at CMA’s two locations and occasionally off-site. This includes 1. Collaborating with Advancement to support fundraising and reporting to funders 2. Contributing to marketing materials 3. Logistics, including supply ordering and event arrangements 4. Developing and tracking budgets 5. Impact evaluation and reporting 1. Build and manage partnerships with youth organizations, including schools, to grow and diversify audience reach in line with strategic plan priorities 2. Collaborate with Learning, Engagement, and Curatorial staff to develop curricula and experiences for existing and future programs for teen and university audiences. 3. Work closely with Deputy Director for Learning and Engagement to create strategic university partnerships aligned to CMA’s strategic plan. 4. Recruit, train, and supervise program mentors and interns for teen programs, as needed. 1. Document and lead program reflection as ongoing, formative assessment. 1. Provides support for professional development of teachers as needed. 1. Other duties as needed. **Qualifications:** 1. Undergraduate degree and prior experience in informal learning institutions, non-profit organizations, or after-school programs required. Degree in studio art, digital media, education, or related field preferred. 2. Demonstrates a welcoming, encouraging, friendly, and people-centered demeanor. 3. Demonstrates an open mindset and a passion for learning. 4. Enjoys working with teens and diverse audiences. 5. Demonstrated planning, organizational, programming, and budgeting abilities. 6. Skilled communicator and collaborator both orally and written. 7. Must be agile with computers and technology, and willing to figure things out in autonomous and responsible ways. Skill in design and video editing software, social media, and studio art tools preferred. 8. Must be available on Saturdays, and occasional Thursday evenings (until 9PM) and Sundays. **Physical Demands:** The employee may frequently lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to transport supplies and materials needed for off-site programs and events. Work is performed at both museum locations and may require travel between sites throughout the workday. The position also supports off-site programming and events, where work environments and conditions may vary.
