This team performs preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on systems including HVAC, plumbing, forklifts, and walkie stackers. Members apply multiple craft skills to maintain high standards of quality and compliance with safety regulations. The team collaborates closely to address maintenance needs promptly, supports continuous improvement, and manages resources efficiently. Their expertise contributes to a safe and well-maintained environment that supports Walmart’s operational goals and commitment to excellence. **What you'll do:** - Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry regulations. - Manage refrigerant levels, parts inventory, and procurement to support maintenance and repair activities efficiently. - Compile and report budget information, including warranty claims and cost comparisons, to support financial sustainability. - Conduct inspections and repairs to meet federal, state, and local HVACR codes and safety standards. - Collaborate with management, coworkers, and external service providers to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Complete required documentation such as work orders, refrigerant logs, and expense reports accurately. - Provide expert guidance on HVACR best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives. **What you'll bring:** - Proven expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems. - Valid HVAC and EPA 608 Technician certifications demonstrating technical proficiency. - Experience managing refrigerant levels, parts inventory, and maintaining compliance with environmental regulations. - Ability to interpret and apply HVACR policies, safety standards, and industry codes effectively. - Strong skills in preventive maintenance and equipment performance optimization. - Capability to collaborate with management, coworkers, and external partners to meet operational goals. - Commitment to ethical practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
