Technician - Pest Control

## Description Responsible for assisting with the prevention, monitoring, and control of pests to maintain a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment. This role supports integrated pest management efforts across assigned facilities while complying with safety regulations, environmental standards, and organizational policies. **Essential Functions:** - Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify signs of pests, including insects, rodents, and other unwanted wildlife. - Apply approved pest control treatments and methods in accordance with safety guidelines, manufacturer instructions, and regulatory requirements. - Set, monitor, and maintain traps, bait stations, and deterrents as needed. - Document pest activity, treatments performed, and follow-up actions accurately and timely. ## Requirements - Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. - Basic knowledge of pest control methods, chemicals, and safety practices (or willingness to learn). **Preferred Qualifications:** - High school graduate or equivalent. - Prior experience in pest control, facilities maintenance, or related field. **Work Schedule:** To Be Determined (19 hours per week) **All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie, HI.** Please note that the Polynesian Cultural Center will not provide relocation or travel expense reimbursements related to this application or hiring process.
