This position also provides support for the Fine Arts Gallery in the Fine Arts and Design Studios building. **Required Qualifications:** - High School Diploma. - Ability to lift, carry, push, & pull 50 pounds. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Associates of Fine Arts degree or coursework in Fine Arts, Photography, Film/Media, or related field. **Position details** **include but are not limited to:** - Technical Support & Customer Assistance: - Provide basic technical assistance to students, faculty, and staff in analog, digital, and computer studios. - Respond to routine questions and issues related to studio equipment and facilities. - Studio & Laboratory Operations: - Assist with setup, operation, and cleanup of studios, laboratories, and instructional spaces. - Support day-to-day studio and lab activities to ensure readiness for instructional use. - Track consumable supplies and materials and report low inventory levels to supervisory staff. - Assist with organization and storage of equipment and supplies. - Equipment Handling & Maintenance: - Support checkout and check-in of equipment in accordance with established procedures. - Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic care of equipment including cameras, printers, enlargers, lighting, and sound gear. - Safety & Exhibition Support: - Follow established safety procedures and report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues. - Assist with installation and deinstallation of gallery exhibitions. - Other duties as assigned: Duties and responsibilities, as required by business necessity, may be updated at any time at the discretion of management.
