Technical Team Manager

Molecule Software | Poland (Office) Molecule is a modern ETRM platform serving energy trading companies across power, gas, renewables, and financial commodities. As we scale our implementation business, we're hiring a Technical Team Manager to lead our Poland-based technical (build and support) team. THE ROLE You'll lead a team of Implementation Engineers responsible for the technical configuration, data loading, testing, and support work that underpins every Molecule implementation. This is a player-manager position — you'll carry a hands-on delivery contribution alongside managing the team's workload, standards, and development. You sit between Implementation BAs (who own client relationships and requirements) and the build team (who execute against them). Your job is to make sure work is clearly understood, accurately executed, and delivered on time — and to build the processes that make that repeatable across a growing portfolio of concurrent implementations. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR • Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of Implementation Engineers • Owning quality and timeliness of all build team outputs: ETRM configuration, data loading, testing, reconciliation, and support • Defining and maintaining the operating model between BAs and the technical team • Resource allocation across concurrent implementations and support queues • Driving continuous improvement — turning recurring issues into structural fixes • Reporting on team throughput and implementation status to CS leadership WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Hands-on background in energy, commodities, or financial services — physical and/or financial trading, post-trade processes, ETRM/CTRM experience required • Prior experience managing a technical delivery or implementation team in a SaaS or enterprise software environment • Strong SQL skills and the ability to independently validate trade, position, and market data outputs • Strong process orientation — comfortable building structure where ways of working are still maturing • Excellent written and spoken English; experience with distributed or offshore teams is a strong advantage
