About the Role As an active member of TELUS Digital, you will support the delivery of complex projects as a Technical Project Manager, ensuring successful execution across all project phases — from planning and initiation through execution, monitoring, and closure. You will act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment, risk management, and on-time delivery within scope and budget. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Plan, lead, and manage complex software development projects, including application development, migrations, and transformation initiatives. - Drive execution across all project phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closure. - Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. - Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation. - Manage stakeholder communication across technical teams, business units, and leadership. - Monitor project scope, timeline, cost, and quality, proactively identifying and mitigating risks. - Produce and maintain project documentation, governance artifacts, and status reports. - Utilize project management tools. - Manage work tracking and collaboration through Jira. - Support budget planning, capital and operational expenditure tracking, and reporting. - Coordinate with external vendors and support contract and procurement management when required. - Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support hybrid or Agile project environments. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent education and/or experience. - 3-4 years of experience managing delivery of complex software projects (Application Development, Migrations or Transformation) - 2-3 years of experience planning and leading projects through all phases. - Strong knowledge of project management methodology (PMI, Agile, or hybrid approaches) - Proficiency with web assisted tools. - Working knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, data analysis) - Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills - Experience producing and maintaining project documentation - Clear and effective communication skills across technical and business stakeholders Desirable skills - Experience with billing systems, financial systems, or payment platforms - PMP Certification or working towards it - Scrum training or Agile certification - Experience in Telco, Financial sector, or Retail - Vendor management or procurement experience - Budget planning and reporting experience What’s in it for you: - Private medical and life insurance from day one - Budget for professional growth (certifications) - Schedule flexibility. - Extra bonus based on performance.
