Technical Program Manager Lead, Network Delivery Implementation

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in program management. 8 years of experience in infrastructure. 5 years of experience in leadership role with direct reports. Preferred qualifications: 10 years of experience in telecommunications or Hyperscale Infrastructure, with 5 years in experience in engineering leadership. Extensive experience with large-scale data center operations and network build-outs. Deep understanding of networking technologies: IP/MPLS, optical transport, data center networking, wireless technologies, and large-scale network architectures. Ability to lead geographically dispersed technical teams and experience in a continuous improvement leadership role, ideally with a focus on lean methodologies. Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills. Ability to translate broad business objectives and technical challenges into action. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams. We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Manager to lead our Network Delivery Implementation (NDI) organization as a Technical Lead. This pivotal leadership role is instrumental in driving the successful and scalable deployment of Google’s large-scale networking solutions within their assigned region in North America. This leader will be responsible for establishing and executing a goal for continuous improvement, meticulously driving processes and performance to achieve dynamic metrics across interval, quality, and cost. A paramount focus will be on cultivating a strong culture of operational safety, viewed through the lens of our customers. In this role, you will possess a deep understanding of the large-scale networking landscape, coupled with a track record of driving business process innovation that accelerates network delivery at scale.
