As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Google's custom-designed equipment makes up one of the largest and most powerful computing infrastructures in the world. The Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver this physical infrastructure. As a Test Technical Program Manager, you will drive manufacturing test processes, tools and procedures behind the products powering Google’s Data Centers. When vendors build parts for our infrastructure, you will ensure manufacturing test processes are repeatable and controlled. You will collaborate with Design Engineering to determine Google’s infrastructure needs and product specifications. Your work ensures the various pieces of Google’s infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience. Responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end manufacturing test development activities and dependencies across internal teams and external partners. Manage procurement, budget, schedule, and risk management for manufacturing test development projects and alignment with New Product Introduction program schedules. Lead Manufacturing Test Development teams through planning, development and deployment of test solutions to support volume manufacturing. Drive communication with internal stakeholders and Channel Memberships/Joint Development Manufacturer partners for test development status via reviews and dashboards. Work with Design Engineering teams to manage dependencies for test development. Maintain and co-author technical documentation used for product test plans and test processes.
