Fiber Asset and Capacity Delivery is a team with expertise in driving complex delivery projects of network assets for the B2 and B4 production network and Cloud customer initiatives. Stitching together multiple providers fiber spans, traversing carriers spaces, and coordinating lightpath readiness across assets that may span thousands of kilometers, all while using excellent program management skills to forecast timely asset readiness for dependent downstream teams. Responsibilities Assist upstream planning and acquisition teams in developing infrastructure requirements, priorities, and delivery date expectations. Manage the delivery of large scale network infrastructure projects involving long-haul dark fiber, metro fiber, leased capacity/circuits, and inside plant fiber from inception through delivery. Ensure facilities are delivered on schedule and meet technical specifications. Serve as primary North America or South America vendor contact for these activities. Lead kickoff and regular project status meetings while keeping downstream teams at Google aware of project and delivery status. Manage exceptions and communicate issues and risks to the rest of the organization.
