Tech Lead

Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead based in Brazil.** This role offers the opportunity to lead engineering teams while remaining deeply involved in designing and building impactful software solutions. You will act as a technical reference, guiding developers, defining engineering standards, and driving architectural decisions. The position combines hands-on development, technical leadership, and collaboration with product, business, and client stakeholders. You will help transform complex requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technology solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive technical leader who values ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. You will also contribute to the adoption of AI-powered tools and modern development practices to improve team productivity and delivery quality. ### Accountabilities - Lead development teams from a technical perspective, promoting engineering best practices, code quality, and effective delivery processes. - Participate actively in the design, development, and evolution of applications, platforms, and scalable software solutions. - Define technical standards, architecture patterns, development guidelines, and engineering approaches. - Design and implement APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability. - Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor developers across different levels of experience. - Act as the technical point of reference for teams, supporting complex decision-making and resolving challenging engineering problems. - Collaborate with product managers, analysts, business teams, and clients to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. - Participate in client discussions by providing technical expertise and supporting solution definition. - Identify technical risks and propose practical solutions aligned with business objectives. - Ensure that solutions meet standards for security, observability, reliability, and performance in production environments. - Promote the adoption of AI-assisted development tools, automation, and AI-driven workflows to enhance engineering productivity. ## **Requirements** - Proven experience leading technical teams or complex software projects, with the ability to guide engineers and influence technical decisions. - Strong proficiency in Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot or equivalent technologies. - Solid experience developing REST APIs and working with distributed system architectures. - Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, or similar solutions. - Hands-on experience working with production cloud environments, preferably AWS. - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern application deployment practices. - Knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools. - Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases. - Ability to collaborate directly with clients and business stakeholders in technology projects. - Strong technical judgment with the ability to balance speed, quality, scalability, and long-term sustainability. - Experience with mentoring, code reviews, and technical coaching. - English proficiency sufficient for technical meetings and documentation. - Experience with distributed teams, cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, or complex architecture decisions is highly valued. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms is a plus. - Practical experience using AI agents, automation workflows, and AI-powered processes for development, testing, documentation, or productivity improvements is desirable. ## **Benefits** - Fully remote position with flexibl…
