Responsible for all production, quality and other efficiencies of the cell. ### Key Responsibilities **Duties and Responsibilities** · Lead the team of direct labor activities to accomplish the following: ensure production and quality standards are met; cross-train team members on all stations of assigned cells; ensure individual machine cells are safe, well-organized, and meet 5S compliance; and coordinate communication between cell and other indirect functions (forklift, process technicians, etc.) · Quality function responsibilities: compliant on assigned quality system paperwork; execute good decisions on acceptable part criteria; perform First Piece Approval (Green Tag) function; validate packaging compliance; responsible for visual audit of molded parts. · Operator support responsibilities: manage break times on assigned team members; provide tools and supplies required by team members; keep production boards updated and accurate; and validate scrap reporting · Technology interface responsibilities: perform label changes as required; control printers and supplies; provide accurate reporting on manufacturing and quality into system as required · Follow the safety rules; report safety problems, all injuries, regardless of severity **Physical Demands:** - Standing – while training the operators, while operating the machines - Walking – to check correct labeling ### Skills Knowledge and Expertise Experience as label coordinator, quality inspector, break relief desirable.
