**Position:** Team Leader Tech Cleaning **Location: Woodruff, SC** **Job Type:** On-site **Reports to:** Facility Manager **Department:** North American Operations **Position Purpose:** Responsible for cleaning assigned production equipment daily. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** - Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec. - Works safely at all times. - Works safely and professionally around moving equipment. - Consistently arrive on time and be fit to work every day as scheduled. - Replace air filters for electrical control panels, clean Sealer pumps using Simple Green cleaner, inspect and refill Sealer robot lubricators, and clean Sealer buildup on Sealer robots. - Clean trash and debris within Drop Lifter Zones and vacuum weld dust and debris from the bottom of electrical control panels and robot controllers. - Track and record completed tasks on work checklist. - Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively. - All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager. **Competencies:** - Managing Tasks - Open Communication - Self-Management **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees. - Language Ability -- Talking to others to convey information effectively. - Under minimal supervision, work directly on routine daily tasks. - Fill out paperwork (Checklist) on completed tasks. - Complete training and practice proper Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures. - Honesty and integrity -- Work steadily at a reasonable pace at all times that are not paid breaks or lunches. - Strong work ethic -- must show up consistently and on time to work every day. - Perform work tasks with a sense of pride and ownership. - Customer Service Orientation - Satisfying customers and management. **Position Qualifications:** - Core Values: Work ethic, integrity, and attendance are the most highly valued qualifications. - Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred. - No previous experience is required; however, an ideal candidate will have cleaning or janitorial experience in an industrial environment is highly preferred. **Physical Requirements:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job: - Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch. - Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment. - Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk. - Use a broom, vacuum, scissors, Simple Green cleaner, and other cleaning tools. - Wear long pants, shirts, steel toe work boots, cut-resistant Kevlar sleeves and gloves, ear protection, and safety glasses. - Climb stairs multiple times per day. - Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. periodically for 2-3 minutes each time.
