**Key Duties and Responsibilities:** - Communicate daily department production goals and prioritize workload demands to ensure maximum productivity is achieved. - Assign and/or adjust workflow as needed and verify work activities are consistent with quality and work instructions. - Monitor key performance indicators of the department. - Report any issues of non-conformance, performance or compliance to the Supervisor or Operations Manager. - Coordinate and collaborate with other departments and external customers as needed. - Ensure adherence to safety guidelines of the department and general warehouse standards are met. - Participate in daily meetings to provide departmental status updates. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**: - Ability to handle and prioritize multiple activities - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) - Experience using warehouse management systems - Must have good communication skill and ability to communicate effectively in English - Ability to instruct, direct, and lead a team of hourly associates. - Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs - Ability to stand and walk continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift and work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. - Good organizational and time management skills - Ability to become certified and operate powered industrial trucks **Education and Experience** Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of prior warehouse experience
