Position Title: Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) - Instructional Services - Content Specialist - REGIONAL MATH SUPPORTS Department: Instructional Services Location: Washington Service Center (Hillsboro) -with travel required in the four-county area, including GASTON School District and BANKS School District Reports To: Program Administrator Compensation: Per negotiated contract, Licensed Salary Schedule Bargaining Unit: NWEA FTE: 1.0 FTE Work Days: 192 work days NW REGIONAL ESD'S MISSION STATEMENT: In partnership with the communities we serve, Northwest Regional ESD improves student learning by providing equitable access to high quality services and support. GENERAL DUTIES: In alignment with the NWRESD's mission statement, this position is responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the Northwest Regional ESD's professional development system for educators across twenty component school districts and for ESD employees across four counties. The Teacher on Special Assignment will join a highly collaborative and innovative team of exceptional educators on the nationally recognized NWRESD Instructional Services Team. The successful TOSA is committed to working collaboratively with other members of the department as well as other professionals within the NWRESD. Bachelor's Degree in curriculum, instruction, counseling, or teaching 2. Three (3) or more years of successful PK-12 teaching/educational experience 4.
