Responsibilities: Plan and teach standards-aligned Physics lessons emphasizing phenomena, inquiry, and the science & engineering practices. Facilitate labs and investigations, ensuring strict adherence to lab safety and chemical hygiene procedures. Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress; differentiate for diverse learners and implement IEP/504 accommodations. Maintain accurate records, communicate regularly with families/guardians, and uphold classroom routines. Collaborate with science department colleagues, case managers, and counselors; attend required meetings/duties. Utilize instructional technology to support learning. Qualifications: Valid NJ certification in a relevant area (Physics or Physical Sciences). Demonstrated success with lab-based, inquiry-driven instruction and inclusive practices.
