Teacher Assistant Aide

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to support Air Traffic Controller training at the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist Instructors with non-instructional tasks to streamline the teaching process - Serve as an instructor for the Air Traffic Basics course - Provide support and guidance to students in specific situations to enhance their learning experience - Prepare and organize course materials and resources - Monitor student progress ### Qualifications **Education:** - Must have an associate’s degree in aviation from an accredited college or university - OR a minimum of 1 year of experience as a TA or similar role in a STEM field - OR one year of relevant aviation experience (e.g., former CTI instructor, flight dispatcher, flight/airline coordinator) **Training and Certification:** - Candidates will receive FAA general and course-specific training - Must become certified by the FAA to meet specific defined job duties and responsibilities - US Citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance **Desired Skills and Attributes:** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail - Ability to work collaboratively with Instructors and other staff - Enthusiasm for teaching and supporting student development - Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic learning environment **Benefits:** - Competitive compensation - Opportunities for professional development and career advancement - Engaging and dynamic work environment - May apply for Instructor I (Academy) classification after completing a minimum of two years as a TA ### About the Company [SAIC®](http://www.saic.com/) is a premier mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
