Are you ready to grow with us? Position Summary Reporting to the Tax Manager, the Tax Senior will …. What will you do in this role? - Prepare or review income tax accruals and related footnote disclosures - Review business, individual, fiduciary, and not for profit tax returns - Prepare more complex tax returns (consolidated or multi-state business returns, complex pass-through entities and complex individuals) - Identify and research tax planning and compliance issues - Assist partners and managers in consulting with closely held businesses and individual clients on financial and tax planning matters - Coach and mentor junior level staff - Demonstrate an interest in practice development What do you need to succeed in this role? - BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CPA of EA certification (or progress towards certification) - 2-5 years of current public accounting experience - Proficiency with computerized tax software and MS Office - Strong client rapport and project management skills - Supervisory experience - Ability to service multiple client engagements simultaneously - Strong communication (verbal and written) skills with the emphasis on ability to articulate complex tax and financial information to all levels of clients In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $110,177.04. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
