Tax Manager - Product Tax - Spanish market

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Work closely with our Product and Growth teams to enable the development of financial products - you will be the main point of contact for financial products related tax topics within the organization for Spain. Own the Spanish market as the subject matter expert for tax topics that relate to the entire product range of Trade Republic: securities, crypto, current accounts, cards. Drive tax product changes, improvements and requirements: frontend to backend. Ensure compliance with local tax reporting requirements, for customers and tax authorities. Coordinate with our external partners, including financial institutions, service providers and tax advisors. Analyze existing and upcoming tax laws regarding their impact on Trade Republic’s existing and future business and take responsibility for necessary implementation. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Strong professional tax background. You don't need to be a capital markets tax expert. We are looking for someone who has a tax background and is willing to deep dive into everything tax and financial services. Experience in the financial services / banking sector is a plus. Reliable personality with high attention to detail. Strong communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulate complex tax topics succinctly. Self starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organization. Spanish and English language skills are required (full professional proficiency).
