Systems Administrator

**Encompass Medical Group**is a primary care provider group and is dedicated to only the highest standards of healthcare excellence as exemplified in all five of our offices located throughout the **Kansas City** metro area. **Encompass Medical Group** is seeking a full-time **Systems Administrator** within our **Lenexa** administrative office. Join our team and share your skills and talents with a leading provider of healthcare services. **Position Summary:** Responsible for the administration of the Practice Management network, maintenance of the equipment involved, training of new staff on the system, and oversight of Charge Entry. **Position Accountabilities:** - Complete responsibility of background Practice Management System, i.e., fee schedule, provider number assignment and termination, insurance carriers, etc. - Assists staff with access to portals for insurance. - Maintains current on all billing trends and changes, and provides training as needed. - Training new billing department staff and assist with new receptionists as needed. - Upgrading systems and software. - Answering clinic and billing phone calls & resolving all issues in a timely manner. - Assist with EZ access errors & refunds front desk errors. - Work billing flag errors. - Convey funds to proper tickets on front desk errors. - Assist with working the file rejected/approved failed errors to submit claims timelier. - Assist with insurance denial trends with resolution. - Other duties as assigned. **Job Specifications:** **Minimum Education** - High School Diploma or greater - Coding Certification **Minimum Experience** - 1-2 years experience in related field **Working Conditions:** - Indoors – temperature controlled climate - Travel within the KC metro area - Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. - Ability to crawl in small places (ex: under desks) ***Encompass Medical Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, marital status, physical or mental disability, religion, national origin, military service, or any other protected category.
