With two decades of experience as a pharmacy technology leader, we continuously invest in cutting-edge innovations to ensure the safety of patients and residents while helping our organization partners thrive.* *Our advanced strip packaging programs not only save time and enhance accuracy but also minimize waste and promote medication adherence across all healthcare settings.* *Symbria services long-term care settings such as: Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Memory care, Developmental communities and many more specialized live-in settings.* ***📅 If you’d like to learn more about the role or have questions, feel free to schedule a quick call with me here:* Book time with Jessica Tyler** ## Responsibilities - Possess knowledgeable understanding of current medication information, health care concepts and all regulations relative to the practices of institutional pharmacy. - Interpret and assess new and refill order requests accurately to ensure appropriate therapy and maintain patient safety. - Clarify inappropriate physician orders when necessary. - Prepare and complete all appropriate documentation required on orders, prescriptions, controlled substance records, general workflow, etc. - Provide physicians, nursing staff, and public with drug information such as drug selection, dosage, proper administration, etc. **Work Schedule Options** - 7/7 on/off - hours will 7pm to 5am ## Qualifications - Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from NABP accredited College of Pharmacy. - Institutional pharmacy experience required. - Valid state registered pharmacist license. **Why work for us?** **At Symbria our employees act like owners – because we are owners!** As one of the few 100% employee-owned healthcare providers, our focus remains on delivering best-in-class services within our Pharmacy, Rehabilitation and Well-Being operations, which allows our clients to improve the lives and well-being of their patients and residents.
