You’ll Grow Your Earnings & Skills - Compensation: Base Pay: starts at $19.50/hour Additional training earns an increase to base amount Weekend shifts: +$3.00/hour Substitute shifts: +$1.00/hour Quarterly performance bonus potential A Role Built on Relationships: Our Swim Teachers do more than lead lessons. They build trust with students, encourage progress, and create consistency that families count on. At FOSS, long-term commitment matters because relationships are at the heart of how students grow. Schedule: Part-time, year-round schedule with a minimum of 12 hours per week. Typically, 3 shifts per week, each shift is approximately 4 hours. Weekday evening shifts starting around 3:30 p.m. Weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) Substitute shifts (+ $1.00/hour) What You’ll Own: Teach 1–4 students per class using hands-on instruction and the FOSS Swim Path curriculum. Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students build confidence, skills, and lifelong water safety habits. Build strong relationships with students and families by celebrating progress, sharing updates, and creating an experience that keeps swimmers motivated and families confident. Collaborate with fellow team members to support school goals and ensure every student receives exceptional instruction. Take ownership of each lesson by preparing, adapting, and helping swimmers achieve their goals. Observe student performance, recognize safety risks, and maintain awareness of multiple students at all times.
