Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Accountable for performing diverse administrative duties and scheduling functions for the surgical department. **What you will do** - Schedules surgical procedures as requested according to established guidelines maintaining the highest level of efficiency. - Facilitates in coordinating a plan of care for patients with various departments throughout the hospital and clinics. - Performs receptionist duties dealing with the general public and medical personnel. - Answers and addresses phone calls and messages, routing/involving other appropriate individuals as needed. - Obtains, formulates, sorts, distributes, and files documents and correspondence as directed. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
