Responsible for maintaining an environment conducive to peak performance in all areas of operation and serves as an active member of the leadership team to support the overall operations. **Essential Functions** - Coordinates day to day support staff operations within the MACC Fund Center Outpatient department. - Oversees staff orientation process and supports educational activities. Collaborates with other members of the MACC Fund leadership team regarding staff development needs, including identifying and prioritizing formal education needs across the service line. Promotes staff development and growth. - Contributes to performance of long-range objectives for the service line including but not limited to financial goals, operations improvement, quality improvement, resource utilization and clinical practice enhancements. - Keeps MACC Fund Outpatient Manager informed of unusual patient or employee situations, patient safety events, changes in staffing requirements, recognition or corrective actions with appropriate documentation, or operational problems within the department. - Proactively trends system issues, identifies solutions and works with unit leadership team to continually improve systems. - Develops strategies to promote patient experience within the Ambulatory support staff team. Fosters an environment conducive to positive patient/family interactions and assures that service standards are met or exceeded. Independently acts as a patient care advocate by investigating and resolving concerns raised by staff, patient or family members. Uses rounding strategies for staff and families to create a link between staff engagement and patient experience. Uses family feedback for patient experience improvement efforts. - Ensures effective communication of information between enterprise and service line leadership and clinic staff. Coordinates in partnership with leadership team regular staff meetings, prepares agenda and submits minutes. - Participates in and/or leads projects as assigned and achieves defined deliverables. Assists with implementing and organizing project tasks. - Performs all essential functions of the front desk staff as needed. Provides resource support to staff related to department responsibilities and operations as well as computer systems and procedures. - Collaborates with staff on the development and modification of clinic schedules in order to meet patient needs across MACC Fund clinic, day hospital, and infusion areas. - Performs people management responsibilities for employees which may include but are not limited to: employee engagement, recruitment, performance management and development **People Management Responsibility** - Performs people management responsibilities for employees which may include but are not limited to: employee engagement, recruitment, performance management and development **Ed…
