Join us and be a part of something special! ## Description Demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of below- listed tasks. ***Start Date: June 1, 2026*** ***Summer hourly rate is $10.00 and only work on as needed basis*** ## Requirements **Responsibilities:** - Thoroughly clean assigned area - Responsible for security (locking doors) in assigned area - Daily check of lights, water faucets, and gas outlets before leaving assigned area - Clean paper and trash containers in assigned area - Capable of lifting 45 pounds - Responsible for security of assigned keys - Be aware of defacing of walls, woodwork, etc., and report to head custodian - Report unsafe conditions or needed repairs to head custodian - Be responsible for supplies and equipment issued - Be economical in the use of lights and turn them off when not in actual use - Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the head custodian **Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:** - **Tools/Equipment Used:** Riding/Standing floor cleaner, buffer, wet/dry vac, vacuum cleaner/jet backpack vacuum, carpet extractor leaf blower, pressure washer, small electrical tools - **Posture:** Frequent standing, sitting, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting - **Motion:** Frequent walking, climbing stairs/ladders, grasping/squeezing, wrist flexion/extension, reaching, and overhead reaching - **Lifting:** Regular lifting and carrying between 15-20 lbs. on a daily basis - **Environment:** Work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces; frequent exposure to extreme hot and cold temperature, dust, toxic chemicals and materials; work on ladders; slippery or uneven walking surfaces; work irregular hours; work occasional prolonged hours **Qualifications:** - Good health - Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language - Must be at least 16 years of age - Complete Employment Eligibility Form (I-9) by furnishing a document establishing identity and a document establishing employment eligibility - For your information, a list of acceptable documents will be available to all applicants - Fingerprinting is required of all candidates per Texas Education Code
