We seek employees who are passionate about serving and ***making a*** ***difference*** in the lives of others. ***Make more than a Living, Make a Difference*** ***Our Part-time Benefits*** - Retirement savings plan with employer match up to 5% - AD&D Insurance **Hourly Rate: $22.00** **Schedule: Up to 29 hours/week** **Duties and Responsibilities** - The Substitute Instructor performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject area. - Promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom setting to insure maximum student motivation. - The Substitute Instructor maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to insure maximum learning. - Maintains student personnel folders; records and forwards daily attendance to the Student Records area. **Qualifications** - High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree, trade certification, or military experience required. - Must be at least 22 years of age per Florida Department of Education substitute teaching requirements. - Teaching certification preferred. - Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred. - Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy. - Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check. *\*This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by a person assigned to this job.
