Substitute Cooks play an important role in helping provide healthy meals to students while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. What You'll Do: Assist with preparation and serving of meals in the cafeteria Fill in for regular kitchen staff as needed Help clean and maintain kitchen and cafeteria areas Assist with proper storage and disposal of food Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Support a clean, organized, and safe food service environment Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and school personnel Adapt to different school kitchen assignments and daily needs What We're Looking For: High school diploma or GED Experience with large-scale food preparation preferred Ability to read, write, and follow instructions Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling Awareness of safety, cleanliness, and district policies Why Join Us?
