The Counselor will adhere to the vision and mission of the Company. **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Maintain caseload per State Regulations - Assures incoming patients have psychosocial assessment and a interpretive summary according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual - Completes, with patient participation, a Preliminary Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual. - Completes a Treatment Plan Review and update for each patient after completion of the Comprehensive Treatment Plan according to the timeline in the ARS Policies and Procedure Manual - Prepares an aftercare transition plan for all patients at the earliest possible time and to review prior to discharge - Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies - Bachelor's Degree in psychology, counseling or human services (Master’s Degree preferred) - **CADC required** - Minimum of three years clinical experience, one of which was in a substance abuse environment. - Proficient in the use of personal computers
