Job Title: Mental Health Outreach Fellow Job Classification: Graduate Student Employee Biweekly Department: Counseling Services Hiring Manager: Dylan Kirby Contact: Dylan_Kirby@baylor.edu Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour **WORK SCHEDULE & DURATION** Work Schedule: 20 hours per week, typically in 4 hour blocks Desired Length of Employment: Fall and Spring semester (August 1– May 14th) **JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES** Purpose: The Mental Health Outreach Fellow will assist with social media outreach, tabling events, and collaborations with student organizations. They will shadow the Coordinator of Outreach Services, support the planning and implementation of outreach events, help manage outreach materials, attend committee meetings, and collect feedback to strengthen future programming. Key Responsibilities: - Promoting Mental Health Resources - Social Media and Marketing - Support Mental Health Ally Initiative - Event Planning and Support - Administrative and Organizational Support - In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with functions specific to academic support such as career coaching, tutoring, supplemental instruction. Job Description: - May assist with researching and developing educational or training material(s) - Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information - May assist with identifying educational and training needs and provide recommendations - May coordinate educational or training sessions, webinars, workshops - May assist with recommending and developing departmental processes and procedures - May serve as a source to answer questions, provide information and resolve concerns - Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners - May lead or present training or other educational topics - May create creative content for educational or training materials - May partner or work with department leadership to align training initiatives with organizational goals - Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission - Ability to comply with University policies - Maintain regular and punctual attendance **WORK LOCATION** Employer: Baylor University Work Location: McLane Student Life Center – Counseling Services Work Address: 209 Speight Avenue, Suite 277, Waco, TX 76706
