## Description **Position Summary** The Career Services Administrative Support position provides essential administrative and operational assistance to the Career Services department. This role supports career services database management, employer communications, and coordination of campus-based career outreach activities to ensure effective service delivery to students and employers. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** - Maintain and update the Career Services database, including student, employer, and job posting records - Assist with scheduling, coordination, and on-site support for career-related events, workshops, and employer visits - Communicate with local and regional employers regarding job postings, internships, and recruitment opportunities - Support employer engagement efforts through routine follow-up communications - Assist the Director of Career Services with administrative tasks, reporting, and correspondence - Ensure accurate data entry and recordkeeping related to Career Services activities - Provide general office support consistent with departmental needs **Work Schedule and Environment** - This is a part-time hourly position. Hours may vary based on departmental needs. Work is primarily office-based with regular interaction with students, employers, faculty, and staff. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to support career-related events. - Students can not work more than 20 hours per week across all student worker positions. ## Requirements **Required Qualifications** - Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience - Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills - Proficiency with standard office software and database systems - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a part-time role **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience in higher education, student services, or career services - Basic familiarity with data management platforms or willingness to learn.
