ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: The Bursar’s office provides administrative and customer service support to the student population, while also assisting faculty, staff, and visitors with account-related inquiries. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and contribute to the efficient operation of the office. POSITION SUMMARY, ROUTINE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Organize office files, and documents. - Perform data entry and verify the accuracy of financial and student information. - Assist with billing, payment processing, and account reconciliation tasks as assigned. - Support office staff with special projects, mail distribution, filing, copying, scanning, and other clerical duties. - Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all students and campus constituents. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Registered full-time SSU student - Eligible to work in the United States - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and follow instructions - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms - Follow SSU dress code policy
