Student Assistant - FWS/Athletics Sports Nutrition

The USF Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is an integral part of USF and its mission by sponsoring a diverse and nationally competitive Division I athletic program. The program serves several significant constituencies, including its student-athletes, who are students first. The most important priority of the program is the progress of the student-athletes toward graduation. Other priorities include the health, fitness and emotional development of student-athletes at USF. Intercollegiate Athletics provide a sense of collegiality, allegiance, and pride for students, staff, faculty, alumni, boosters and the greater Tampa Bay community at large and serves as a focal point for their support. Within the framework of competitive excellence, Intercollegiate Athletics at USF are also a contact vehicle leading supporters to a greater awareness of the University's mission, academic programs and prominence as an educational institution. This is a FWS student temporary position with USF's Athletics Sports Nutrition department. Sports Nutrition FWS Student Assistant (Football and Basketball). We are looking to hire for fall/spring semesters. Please include class schedule and Federal work study aware allotment from awards summary. ### Responsibilities Job duties include (but not limited to): Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of USF Sports Nutrition's fueling stations, inventory management, supporting assigned teams' snack distributions and travel preparations, hydration protocols, and data collection. ### Qualifications Minimal Qualifications: - HS diploma or equivalent - Current USF student who has Federal Work Study award and is currently enrolled in class- must provide award and class schedule - Ability to lift up to 40 lbs - Ability to work in fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - Currently working towards a career in nutrition, health, or exercise sciences field preferred. Experience working in athletics preferred but not required.
