***Scandinavian Designs - Dania Furniture*** **is looking for a Store Manager!** **Location:** 23676 US Hwy 19 North Clearwater, FL **Position:** Full-time / exempt **Salary:** Fixed bi-weekly salary of $2,692,31 - $2,884.62 for 6 months while training, then a guaranteed yearly base PLUS uncapped commission on Store sales, PLUS uncapped commission on personal sales! **What You'll Be Doing** - Inspire and create satisfied customers through honest, knowledgeable and ethical selling practices. - Maximize sales growth, profitability, manage a team of sales associates, sales manager and warehouse associates in a commission-based sales environment. - Communicate a compelling vision and operating plan with enthusiasm and clarity to your team, customers and community. - Lead by example to make a positive team atmosphere dedicated to the company’s mission of being recognized for the highest level of customer and team member satisfaction. - Become an expert in our product and services through active self-led learning and company led product and service training. - Set energizing sales goals, always striving to improve and create a culture that inspires associates in an encouraging and supportive way. Always actively seek feedback and practice new habits of success. - Store Manager responsibilities include and not limited to: - Process sales including cash and credit, service and refund transactions accurately. - Greet our clients and answer our phones in a prompt, warm, professional and polite manner. - Process all after-sale service issues with empathy and by following company policy. - Assist in daily opening and/or closing procedures for store in accordance with policy. - Demonstrate effective de-escalation tactics when working with angry or dissatisfied customers. Work quickly and accurately to find resolutions when problems arise. - Maintain excellent appearance of the showroom and all store facilities. - Support the warehouse, store support and delivery drivers as needed. - Tag furniture, write service orders, answer phones and inquiries, check inventory, assist with assemblies and other duties as assigned. - Take responsibility for disciplinary actions on-site and be a proactive in the staffing needs of the store. **Who You Are** - Excellent communication skills and professional sales presentation and strong understanding of management practices. - Able to read product and transaction information. - The Store Manager is available to work a combination of days, evenings and weekends. - Schedule includes weekends, some evenings, holiday work, inventory and other busy times. - Able to successfully complete the pre-employment background check and drug check. - Standing and walking most of the day. - Some lifting and assisted lifting for floor displays and merchandise settings (30 lbs.). - Some bending, kneeling and stooping. - Light cleaning, vacuuming and dusting. - Working with hand tools for assemblies. - Occasional travel to customer sites and meetings. **Education:** - High School diploma or equivalent. - Management experience in customer service, retail sales, interior design or consulting preferred and not required. - 1~2 years or more in sales in a management role, retail and customer service experience encouraged. **SCANDINAVIAN DESIGNS - DANIA FUNITURE OFFERS** - Benefits for Full-time Associates\* including: - Opt-in for Health benefits, Dental, Vision and Health Savings account (HSA) - 401K - Work life balance - Paid Time Off (PTO) - Regular schedule - Generous merchandise discounts - Pet Insurance - Tuition Assistance \*Benefits eligibility depends on scheduled hours.
