You'll need a good eye for quality. And some knowledge of clothing brands and current styles won't hurt! This is a critical role in our retail stores and is eligible for healthy incentive pay based on your performance. **Position Duties:** 1. Sort donated clothing by gender, style, and quality to help store team meet daily production goals. 2. Price and hang donated clothing for placement on the sales floor. 3. PREFERRED: · N/A | | PHYSICAL DEMANDS: | Requires standing and walking and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending, and reaching with hands and arms. Requires frequent lifting and moving of light items, up to 10 pounds, and occasional lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds. May be required to stand for entire shift. | | MENTAL DEMANDS: | Requires energetic, team-oriented individual with a positive “can-do” attitude and an ability to understand, accept and work with people who have disabilities and/or other barriers to employment. | | MACHINES/EQUIPMENT: | Must be able to use computer keyboard and touchscreen. | | WORKING CONDITIONS: | Mix of donation, production, and retail environments. Usually fast-paced. | | OTHER REQUIREMENTS: | Must have excellent interpersonal skills and values that reflect the organization’s mission and values. Maintain professional standards of performance, demeanor, and appearance at all times. Must be 16 years of age or older. Must be willing to occasionally work evenings or weekends. Must pass a background check. |
