*Store Clerk, 18+

## Description We're currently accepting applications for the position of part-time Store Clerk at the Macon Extreme Mart. Qualified applicants must be 18+, hard workers, able to provide excellent customer service, work in a fast-paced environment, and a go-getter. Must be available to work evenings, and some weekends. Experience is preferred, but not required. This position has the potential to be full-time with competitive wages and benefits, including health insurance, holiday/vacation pay, and flexible hours. **Job Description:** A Store Clerk is responsible assisting customers, and at times overseeing store operations. Duties may include operating a point of sales register, answering the phone, stocking and rotating products, issuing refunds, counting and balancing drawers, and most importantly; providing excellent customer service. Primary Duties: - Set the example: provide friendly, prompt, and efficient customer service. - Assist customers with questions and requests. - Operating point of sales register – ringing groceries, counting change, balancing drawer. - Assist with front-line operations. - Answering the phone. - Stock and rotate products. - Count and balance drawers. - Practice proper sanitation procedures and complete required cleaning to ensure work areas and displays are kept neat and clean. - Adhere to company policies and guidelines. - Report to work when scheduled and on time. ## Requirements Qualifications. - Must be at least 18 years of age. - Experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right person! - Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. Physical Requirements: - Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of time. - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, lift up to 20 pounds frequently, and lift up to 10 pounds constantly to move product. - Must be able to carefully operate equipment necessary to perform job.
