Steel Construction Estimator

Experienced Construction Estimator needed for Steel Contractor doing structural and miscellaneous steel for various commercial and industrial projects, government contracts, high-rise buildings, apartment complexes, restaurants, and sports fields. Positive culture in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. THIS IS AN IN-HOUSE POSITION, NOT A REMOTE POSITION Key Responsibilities: \* Analyze and compile cost data to ensure a high-quality bid \* Produce detailed bids using company specific format that clearly identifies project scope and includes accurate materials, shop and field labor \* Develop competitive bids using Tekla/PowerFab software \* Review bids with project managers and perform project hand-offs that convey scope Key Skills: \* Strong Computer skills with the ability to use or learn Tekla/PowerFab software \* Experience with structural steel and miscellaneous metals \* Fluent in both Architectural and Structural bid documents \* Highly organized with the ability to communicate information in a clear and precise manner \* A person with the drive to build relationships and sell the job after the bid \* Detail-oriented with solid time management skills \* Strong verbal and written communication skills \* Ability to work independently \* Demonstrated ability to manage and balance multiple projects \* Knowledge of AISC and AWS Standards If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please forward your resume along with salary requirements.
