Position Detail: We currently have openings for an experienced Station Mechanic in our Rocky River and Bulls Bridge locations in New Milford, CT. This is a unionized position within the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The Station Mechanic Reports to the O&M Supervisor and is responsible for performing technical and non-technical assignments related to the safe, efficient and successful operation and maintenance of the assets at the project. Responsibilities also include operation of the equipment, not limited to the generators, motors, spill gates for river management, construction of new project and/or extension of life project, installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of all equipment used at the Operations South facilities and its related waterways, appurtenances, structures, and other facilities. The compensation for this position falls between $52.03 and $58.03 per hour. The final compensation offered will depend on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and years of relevant experience, industry-specific experience, relevant education/certifications and geographic location.
