State Pre-K Assistant Teacher

The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond! The Assistant Teacher supports the Teacher and/or Lead Teacher in planning and implementing the daily program for children, supervises the class when the Lead is out of the room, helps with meals, safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and Center. The State Pre-K Assistant Teacher is responsible for instructing 4-year old's, based on needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. As an Assistant Teacher, you are: - **Caring!** Follow all licensing guidelines, company standards and grant program requirements to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom. - **Engaged!** Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. - **Knowledgeable!** Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics. - **Creative!** Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.
