Duties - **Personal Care Support** — Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. - **Companionship Services** — Provide social engagement, conversation, and emotional support to promote client well-being. - **Safety Assistance** — Support safe transfers and mobility using proper techniques and assistive devices when needed. - **Light Housekeeping** — Perform tasks such as laundry, tidying, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe home environment. - **Observation & Reporting** — Monitor for changes in client behavior or condition and report concerns promptly to supervisors or family. - **Support for Cognitive Conditions** — Provide patient, structured assistance for clients living with dementia or memory-related challenges. - **Community Support** — Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed. Qualifications - **Active CNA license** required. - Experience in home care, assisted living, or similar environments preferred. - Strong understanding of **non-medical caregiving boundaries** and client safety. - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and safe transfer techniques. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and team members. - Compassionate, reliable, and committed to maintaining client privacy and dignity.
