This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by building reliable infrastructure at global scale while contributing to the future of AI-powered software development. ### Accountabilities: As a Staff Software Engineer, you will take ownership of designing, implementing, and evolving scalable backend systems while providing technical leadership across engineering teams. - Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions that scale across multiple services and environments. - Build and maintain highly available backend services and APIs that support AI-powered developer tools and integrations. - Drive architectural decisions through technical designs, proposals, prototypes, and engineering experiments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define innovative solutions and improve platform capabilities. - Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and support the growth of other engineers through knowledge sharing and collaboration. - Own the health, reliability, and quality of the systems you build, including participating in on-call and incident response activities. - Develop and optimize APIs that enable seamless communication between software components and services. - Establish engineering best practices around maintainability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence. - Contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes by improving automation, tooling, and deployment workflows. ## Requirements: The ideal candidate combines extensive software engineering experience with strong distributed systems knowledge and the ability to lead complex technical initiatives. - 9+ years of experience in software engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline with proven experience building and maintaining production software. - Equivalent experience through relevant education and professional background will also be considered. - Strong programming experience with one or more general-purpose languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python. - Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production environments. - Proven ability to create technical designs, make architectural decisions, and solve complex engineering challenges. - Experience building reliable backend services with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability. - Minimum 4 years of experience working with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar technologies. - Minimum 4 years of experience using general-purpose programming languages such as Go, Ruby, or comparable languages. - Minimum 5 years of experience working with cloud environments and/or Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) technologies. - Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams. - A passion for developer-focused products, continuous learning, and building impactful technology. ## Benefits: - Competitive base salary range of $140,400 – $372,300 USD per year, depending on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. - Eligibility for additional r…
