Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling. 8 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols. 8 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages. 5 years of experience in managing a team of engineers or security professionals. Preferred qualifications: Experience building, deploying, and using AI/ML-driven approaches for security workflows including vulnerability identification, risk evaluation, and scaled remediation. Experience in software security in Cloud environments, particularly in vulnerability assessment, risk evaluation, and scalable remediation of classes of vulnerabilities. Ability to manage a phased program rollout, transitioning operational ownership and scaling technical infrastructure with limited oversight. Ability to guide engineering roadmap for attack surface reduction and vulnerability management. Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of collaborating across organizational boundaries to drive alignment and technical execution. You are a recognized expert in at least two security domains and use your leadership skills to manage a team that sets the direction and goals for solving Google-wide problems.
