In our time of Company growth, we seek a Staff Registered Nurse (RN)/East Manatee Family. **Work Locations:** Bradenton, FL **As part of this role, you will:** - Adheres to the time and attendance policy as written in the employee handbook - Must be able to float to alternative locations as instructed by your supervisor with short notice to ensure adequate site coverage - Responsible for providing vital signs, interviewing the patient/family, and charting - Collaborates with healthcare providers in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the needs of the patients and peers - Maintains positive, effective communication with providers, supervisors, and peers - Ensures Provider’s orders are directed to the various appropriate departments - Knowledgeable and assist Providers as requested with exams, procedures, removal of sutures, etc. - Completes medication and DME authorizations for patients in a timely manner ## Requirements **What you need to bring to this role:** - Licensed RN in good standing with the Florida Board of Nursing required - Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required - Minimum of 1 year of experience in professional nursing experience preferred - Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute Required - Cardio Department ONLY: ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health and Safety Institute Required - Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint proficiency preferred
