The Role This is a chance to own a strategic bet, not a backlog. As a Staff PM you'll take an ambiguous, company-level bet and turn it into shipped outcomes across multiple projects, deciding what we invest in, what we drop, and what "good" means along the way. This role is exciting because: - Real ownership, not coordination: You'll own a multi-project bet from concept to adoption. You decompose it, sequence it, and answer for the outcome, often without a PM manager above you. - Judgment is the job: AI has collapsed the cost of specs, prototypes, and analyses. What's scarce now is taste and the willingness to make hard calls under ambiguity. That's what we're hiring for. - You'll multiply, not just ship: Other PMs will cite your judgment. The standards you set for how we scope, launch, and close the loop will outlive any single project. - AI-native from day one: We're building from first principles, not layering AI onto legacy systems, and you'll work that way too, with AI doing the bulk of analysis, prototyping, and synthesis while you do the framing and the deciding. - High performing PDE culture: We operate as a tight, collaborative product-design-engineering team with intentional practices that make distributed work effective and energizing. This is a generic Staff PM role. We'll match you to a specific bet based on your strengths and where the company needs the most leverage. What You'll Do - Own a strategic bet that spans multiple projects, from concept through adoption, including the metric it's accountable to - Develop and evangelize the strategy for that bet over months, build executive conviction on it, and defend your recommendations under pressure - Set the product taste bar across the bet: talk to customers directly, walk the flows, and hold a clear POV on what great looks like - Design workflows where AI does the bulk of the analysis, prototyping, and synthesis, and set the verification standards that keep that work honest - Self-serve your own answers: write your own SQL, run your own analyses in Metabase and Amplitude, prototype in Claude/Devin/Lovable when that's the fastest path to a real answer - Improve how the org ships: planning rituals, post-launch reviews, prioritization loops, and the systemic bottlenecks nobody has owned yet What We're Looking For - 5+ years of product management experience, including a track record of owning multi-project, strategic bets end-to-end - Evidence you can turn ambiguity into a shipped outcome: you've taken something with no playbook and made it real - Demonstrated ability to build executive conviction and land tough no's, including upward - A history of shipping fast on small teams, where you did the work yourself rather than directing others to do it - Fluency with data: you pull it, model it, and use it to pressure-test your own ideas rather than confirm them - Daily, sophisticated use of AI in your own workflow, and a clear-eyed view of where it fails: hallucinated metrics, vibe-coded p…
