We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer to help define those foundations. This is a highly strategic, systems-oriented role for a designer who enjoys solving complex problems across product boundaries. You’ll shape experience architecture, create reusable UX patterns, and help teams build experiences that feel connected as Reddit evolves. What you’ll do Define UX strategy and experience architecture across multiple Presence initiatives. Shape foundational experiences across identity, profiles, community representation, Reddit Pro, and emerging product areas. Turn ambiguous opportunities into clear product direction, scalable frameworks, and compelling experiences. Use AI-assisted design and coding tools to create functional prototypes that make ideas tangible and accelerate decisions. Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and senior leaders to influence product direction. Bring teams together around shared principles, trade-offs, and a longer-term vision. Raise the bar for interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and reusable design patterns. Mentor designers and help evolve how the team approaches systems thinking, craft, and AI-native design. What we’re looking for 8 to 10+ years of product design experience, including complex, cross-functional work in consumer technology. Strong systems thinking and experience designing platform-level or reusable product experiences. Exceptional interaction design, information architecture, and product strategy skills. Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing long-term vision with near-term execution. A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning teams without direct authority. Strong storytelling, facilitation, and communication skills. Experience using AI-assisted design or coding tools to explore, prototype, and communicate ideas. A portfolio demonstrating Staff-level thinking, strong craft, and meaningful product or organizational impact.
