This position offers the opportunity to improve critical workflows used by organizations managing complex systems and infrastructure. You will help define the future of incident response experiences while mentoring designers and contributing to design team evolution. ### Accountabilities: - Design practical, effective, and scalable user experiences for incident response and management solutions across desktop, mobile, collaboration platforms, integrations, and AI-powered workflows. - Partner with product managers, engineers, technical writers, go-to-market teams, researchers, and other designers to improve product experiences and deliver customer-focused solutions. - Understand user needs, pain points, workflows, and business objectives through research, customer feedback, and collaboration with technical stakeholders. - Create detailed product designs, prototypes, design documentation, and visual communication materials using modern design tools and AI-assisted workflows where appropriate. - Work with customers and research partners to plan and execute formative and evaluative research initiatives that guide product decisions. - Balance customer needs, business priorities, technical constraints, and long-term product strategy when making design decisions. - Develop deep expertise in incident response workflows, technical user personas, and customer use cases to improve product impact. - Contribute to the growth of the Product Design organization by mentoring other designers, sharing best practices, and helping evolve design processes. - Collaborate across a distributed remote environment by promoting transparency, strong communication, and effective teamwork. - Help shape future product experiences by exploring innovative approaches to AI-assisted workflows and next-generation developer tools. ## Requirements: - Proven experience as a product designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating impactful design work for complex software products. - Experience designing for developers, SREs, engineers, or other highly technical user groups. - Demonstrated ability to create product experiences that improve business outcomes, customer satisfaction, adoption, or measurable product metrics. - Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, research methodologies, interaction design, and visual communication. - Ability to make thoughtful design decisions that balance user needs, business objectives, technical considerations, and product priorities. - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones in fast-paced environments. - Ability to deliver pragmatic, cohesive, and scalable solutions while managing evolving requirements and industry trends. - Experience working in remote-first environments with a culture of autonomy, transparency, and collaboration. - Strong mentoring skills and a commitment to supporting the growth and development of other designers. - Experience designing developer tools, cloud infrastructure products, security solutions, or other high-stakes technical workflows is preferred. - Familiarity with…
